ME 303 - Mechanical Measurements I (W) 2 Credit(s)
Basic principles underlying the construction and use of sensing and recording instrumentation for mechanical measurements. Data reduction and error analysis. Discussion and lab experience in the use of transducers for the measurement of displacement; strain and stress; force and torque. This is a writing-enriched course. One lecture and one 3-hour lab per week. Corequisite(s): ENGR 323 .
