ED 632 - Internship in Counseling I for Student Affairs

This course is designed for graduate students in the student affairs track of the graduate counselor education program. The role and responsibilities of the student affairs professional are explored in a field placement at a college or university. Each internship [I & II] requires 200 hours of field-based work. The objective is to promote and facilitate the process of becoming a professional, reflective, and competent student affairs professional through a variety of performance tasks in a university or higher education setting. The development of professional dispositions is a critical component.
Prerequisite(s): ED 554 ED 651 ED 652 ED 653  and ED 656
