ED 644 - Appraisal, Assessment and Psychological Testing

This course is an introduction to appraisal, assessment and testing theory, construction, and measurement. Reliability, validity, sampling, item analysis and descriptive statistics will be topics in the course, as well as interpreting scores . A survey of ability, achievement, and personality tests, in addition to mental health and interest inventories will be examined. An understanding of individual and group approaches to assessment and evaluation are included. *This course description is subject to change.
