CSCI 392 - Network and Computer Security 3 Credit(s)
This course is designed to extend coursework in practical cryptology and parallel computing. The course teaches topics in computer security, including topics in the theory of security and protocols for securing computer networks. This course includes lectures/presentations by guest speakers from the fields of computer and network security. Practical skills include the development of a security protocol, written for and implemented in a parallel computing environment. Prerequisite(s): CSCI 391 .Corequisite(s): CSCI 257 and CSCI 258 or CSCI 247 and 248.
