This course will provide basic understanding about hazards and risk in the chemical industries, identification and understanding of potential hazards, managing and mitigating the risk by providing the appropriate layers of protection, Evaluation of consequences, safeguards, and risks, and learning from hazardous incidents when they happen.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 175 and CHEM 177 or CHEM 135 and CHEM 137 . CHE 222
