Double Majors with Sociology

The Department of Sociology encourages students to consider double majors. Students with double majors must choose a sociology concentration and complete its required courses, including at least one capstone course/sequence in sociology. To complete the capstone requirement, students must take either:

SOC 382 Research Design for Sociology  3 Credit(s) as well as

SOC 409 Senior Research  3 Credit(s)  and

SOC 410 Senior Research  3 Credit(s) (for students in the social research concentration) or

SOC 423 Sociology Internship  3-9 Credit(s) (for students in all other concentrations)
