Curriculum

The Electrical Engineering specialization includes a wide array of courses in high-performance computing, power and controls, microelectronics and RF design, and signal processing and modern communication systems.

Students in the MSE program are encouraged to work with their academic advisor to design a focused program of study that will enhance their career goals and professional skills. The MSE degree can be completed with a thesis or non-thesis option.

Select 4 courses, in consultation with the academic advisor, with BME, EE, ME, RE or ENGR prefixes. Students pursuing a thesis must enroll in ENGR 691 and ENGR 692 in lieu of two technical electives.
