FREN 310 - Introduction to French and Francophone Short Stories 3 Credit(s)
Selected 19th- and 20th-century French and Francophone short stories are studied and interpreted as a reflection of the development of the short story and social, philosophical, and artistic changes throughout this period. Authors may include Camus, Djebar, Flaubert, Maupassant, and Sembène. The course is conducted in French. Prerequisite(s): FREN 301 or FREN 302 or by permission of instructor.
