SOC 207 - The Social Self

This sociologically framed social psychology course is taught from an interactionist perspective. It is concerned with the reciprocal manner in which individuals and small groups influence one another. The focus is on the interaction that takes place between people in a social setting. Readings and exercises provide a means to understand the self in relation to others and to the society and culture in which we live.
Prerequisite(s): SOC 105 .
