ED 584 - Program Development in Adult Education 3 Credit(s)
This course explores the basic principles and practices involved in establishing and managing adult education programs. Students examine the design of effective learning experiences for adults in various settings: higher education, adult basic education, corporate training, and community and health education. Topics include program development, concepts of needs assessment, goals and program objectives, faculty/trainer selection and training, instructional design, ethical issues in design and delivery, and evaluation. Prerequisite(s): ED 583 .
