This course focuses on the normal and abnormal physiology of the neuromuscular system including concepts of neuroscience in the practice of physical therapy. It defines the relationship between structure, function, and control of the human nervous system in normal and pathological states. This course builds a foundation for courses later in the curriculum that will address the examination, evaluation, and intervention of patients with neurological conditions.
