RE 609 - Robotics Dynamics and Control 3 Credit(s)
Develop dynamic models of robot manipulators, mobile robots, flexible robots, and drones (quadrotors), and design controls algorithms for such robotic systems that can grasp and manipulate objects. The course covers dynamics, trajectory generation, motion planning, and nonlinear control, and develops real-time planning and control software modules for robotic systems. This course gives students the basic theoretical tools and enables them to design control algorithms. Experience with dynamic system modeling and electromechanical systems is expected.
