This course provides students with the opportunity to apply knowledge of advanced nursing practice and education concepts in promoting health and preventing disease in one of the following populations/settings: adult-gerontology, maternal-child, pediatrics, mental health, or community. Students apply critical thinking skills in making clinical judgments while providing nursing care based on best practices within a health care environment. (120 clinical hours)
