SLP 501 - Foundations of Interprofessional Practice

This course provides students with an introduction to collaborative practice in education and health care settings. The Interprofessional Education Collaborative Core Competencies (IPEC 2011, 2016) of values and ethics for interprofessional practice, professional roles and responsibilities, interprofessional communication, and teams and teamwork will be reviewed and discussed using a variety of interactive case studies.
