SLP 510 - Adult Neurogenic Communication Disorders I

This is the first of a two-course series that will focus on acquired disorders of language and cognition. The impact of stroke, traumatic brain injury, dementia and other progressive diseases on communication will be investigated. Students will learn prevention, assessment, and treatment strategies through lecture, case-based scenarios, and simulation.
