NSCI 600 - Biostatistics and Research Methods 3 Credit(s)
This course focuses on research design and application of statistical methods used in biological research. Topics include sampling methods, frequency distributions, descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, probability, and both parametric and non-parametric tests. A statistical software package is used for statistical analysis. Statistical problems involving nutrition/health are used throughout the semester.
