NSCI 605 - Integrative Health: Nutritional Genomics and Microbiome

This course includes the foundation in genetics/genomics and explores the role of nutritional genomics and epigenetics in the prevention and treatment of chronic disease for possibly evidence-based precision medicine. The interrelationships of biochemistry, physiology, microbiome, genetics, and nutrition are used for nutritional status assessment. The course includes supervised experiential learning activities and competency based-assessment of performance indicators.
