PSY 355 - Biological Psychology 3 Credit(s)
This course serves as an introduction to the nervous system and the role it plays in behavior and experience. Topics include the biological basis of behavior, learning, memory, and motivation. This course also reviews common forms of brain injury, disease, and the neurological disorders that result from these conditions (e.g. paralysis, concussion, amnesia, agnosia, dementia, movement disorders). Satisfies science or social science distribution requirements. Psychology majors must receive a “C” or better in this course to satisfy psychology major requirements.
