COMS 200 - Applied Communication 1.5 Credit(s)
This class bridges theory and practice for students interested in developing their professional communication skills. These skills include speech lab training, group facilitation skills, COMS Center management (TV/podcast studios and editing suites), social media promotion, and other applied skills training. The course topic may be specialized to the skill-building practice and determined by the student and faculty member prior to the start of the term. Each student will work with a faculty mentor who will provide instructional training and supervision. Open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. May be repeated once for credit.
