PSY 260 - Paranormal Psychology

This course involves a critical examination of beliefs in paranormal phenomena. Students read and discuss reports of ESP, psychic readings, alien abduction, and other parapsychological experiences. Students explore the psychological processes and logical fallacies that may underlie erroneous beliefs in paranormal phenomena.  Additionally, links between paranormal and conspiratorial thinking are covered.  
Prerequisite(s): PSY 105
