SCI 209 - Food Science II 3 Credit(s)
A continuation of SCI 107 , which surveys the various types of microorganisms. Emphasis is placed on the interactions between microorganisms and man and the significance of microorganisms in the food industry and food-borne diseases. 3 hours lecture. This course, designed for nonscience majors, cannot be used to fulfill requirements for any major or minor in science. Prerequisite(s): SCI 107 or CHEM 105 .Corequisite(s): SCI 210 .
