SEM 207 - Food and Beverage Management for Events 3 Credit(s)
In this course, students learn about the management of the food and beverage process and the integral role it plays in all types of events. Concepts such as food and beverage logistics, operations, sales, marketing, promotions, service management, menu planning, design and presentation, cost controls, forecasting, and pricing strategies are introduced. Food safety concepts are also covered, and students take the NRA ServSafe Manager Certification Exam.
