SOC 252 - Food, Water and Social Justice

The overarching goal of the course is to apply a justice-based lens to issues of water and food sovereignty. Students will use political and environmental sociological theory to engage with issues of justice and common resources in a variety of case studies. There will also be a community-based learning component to the course. This course serves as a sociology elective and a social science general education elective.
