This course covers behavior and design of columns, beam-columns, and single and multistory frames with a review of the latest building specifications. Selected topics include the design of structural systems, system stability, torsion effects, deflection analysis, plate girders, building connections, composite construction, and computer-aided designs. Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate background in structural steel design.
