ENVR 100 - Introduction to Environmental Science 3 Credit(s)
This course is designed for non-science majors who are interested in learning about a variety of current and pressing environmental issues, along with how to best conserve resources that we have remaining. A broad spectrum of topic areas include our environmental history, matter and energy, understanding biome complexity, ecosystem function, risk analysis, human population dynamics, toxicology and human health issues. This course also concentrates on examining resource scarcity and waste issues, the loss of planetary biodiversity and how humans can strive to live a more sustainable existence. 3 hours lecture. 3 lecture hours weekly.
