PSY 203 - Consumer Behavior

An investigation of how psychological processes influence the marketing and consumption of products, as well as the marketing and acceptance of ideas. Topics include consumer research methodologies, the effect of advertising on attitudes and behavior, the influence of motivation theory on advertising content, how persuasion influences the adoption of products, and cultural differences in consumption patterns. Students can only earn credit for one of PSY 203, PSY 334 , and MKT 400 .
