Natural Science Minor

This minor is not for students majoring in the natural sciences. The natural sciences are defined as biology, chemistry, biochemistry, physics and astronomy, environmental science and sustainability, and environmental health and sustainability management.

Curriculum
Students must take a minimum of 5 courses across at least 3 of the following disciplines, with at least 3 credits in each of the 3 disciplines. These may be any courses with the appropriate department code. One course from each discipline must contain a lab component as a co-requisite or as part of the course. A minimum of 2 courses must be taken outside of the curriculum for the student’s declared major. Courses taken as part of pre-professional pathways which are not otherwise part of the declared major can count towards these 2 courses.
