SW 668 - Clinical Supervision 3 Credit(s)
This course explores approaches to and skills associated with clinical supervision. Initially, students work in teams in experiential exercises during which they alternately take the role of supervisor and supervisee. These experiences are then examined in relation to assigned course readings and class discussions. The last sessions of the course require the students to again role-play identified supervisory tasks/functions both as a supervisor and as a supervisee. The class concludes with large group discussion of those experiences. Prerequisite(s): SW 506 or Advanced Standing
