HPE 701 - PhD Bootcamp

PhD Bootcamp is a seminar that can be taken either as a stand-alone course or as the first course in the Research Track. Students can take this course without acceptance or matriculation into the PhD program. PhD Bootcamp is an introduction to doctoral study & research. It covers how to format a dissertation and provides a brief introduction to academic writing, guidance in conducting a literature review, exposure to various referencing styles, and an introduction to the IRB application. Students in this course complete IRB training and a writing module.
