PHYS 271 - Computational Methods in Physics

This course is designed to introduce students to the use of the desktop computer programs Mathematica and Matlab in solving problems in physics. Topics include numerical integration and differentiation, algebraic manipulation, and graphical presentation.
3 hours of laboratory/lecture weekly.
Prerequisite(s): PHYS 162  and PHYS 164 .
