3 Credit(s)

The purpose of this class is to introduce students to policies focused on juvenile offending and examine the rehabilitative efforts of the system. We will discuss some high profile cases and court decisions that have affected policy in the juvenile system. Additionally, a look at the actual programs in use in Delaware County Juvenile Court will help give students a real life glimpse of our local court system. This course serves as a CJ elective and a social science general education elective.
