CHEM 178 - General Chemistry Lab II

This course provides laboratory exercises in general chemistry correlated to the material in CHEM 176. Fundamentals of measurement and quantitative aspects of chemistry are emphasized. The course includes basic concepts of physical, analytical, organic, and inorganic chemistry, including colligative properties, kinetics, acid-base chemistry, synthesis, coordination chemistry, solubility, calorimetry, and electrochemistry. The use of computers in data collection and analysis is emphasized. 3 hours laboratory.
