CHEM 178 - General Chemistry Lab II

This course provides laboratory exercises in general chemistry correlated to the material in CHEM 176 . Fundamentals of measurement and quantitative aspects of chemistry are emphasized. The course includes basic concepts of physical, analytical, organic, and inorganic chemistry, including colligative properties, kinetics, acid-base chemistry, synthesis, coordination chemistry, solubility, calorimetry, and electrochemistry. The use of computers in data collection and analysis is emphasized. 3 hours laboratory. 
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 175  and CHEM 177  Corequisite(s): CHEM 176
