PSY 355 - Biological Psychology 3 Credit(s)
This course serves as an introduction to the nervous system and the role it plays in behavior and experience. Topics include the structure and function of the neuron, how parts of the nervous system contribute to behavior, and detailed reviews of the biological basis of movement, habits, sleep, and brain injury/disease. Satisfies science or social science distribution requirements. Psychology majors must receive a C or better in this course to satisfy psychology major requirements. Prerequisite(s): PSY 105
