RE 409 - Robot Operating System

The Robot Operating System (ROS) is a modular software platform to develop generic robotic applications. This course covers the fundamental ROS concepts, robot modeling, and simulation. Students engage in hands-on course projects, explore existing ROS packages, and prepare for robotics research and automation careers using ROS. Experience in object-oriented programming is expected. 
Prerequisite(s): ENGR 112  or ENGR 114
