HSED 714 - Qualitative Research Methods

This course is designed to clarify and explain some of the different approaches and methods by which qualitative research is being conducted and to develop a sense of what is meant by the term ‘qualitative.’ The course is also designed to provoke discussion and further elaboration of the issues and methods that are represented—e.g., ethnography, historiography, content analysis, conceptual analysis, and grounded theory.
