This course examines two managerial skills deemed essential for success in leading public and nonprofit organizations. The course focuses on principles, policies, processes and 21st century challenges in the budgeting and human resources arena. Special attention will be given to the intersection of the two areas for generalist managers in public or nonprofit settings.
