Double Majors with Sociology

The Department of Sociology encourages students to consider double majors. Students with double majors must choose a sociology concentration and complete its required courses, including at least one capstone course/sequence in sociology. To complete the capstone requirement, students must take either:

• SOC 382 - Research Design for Sociology   3 Credit(s)
• SOC 409 - Senior Research   6 Credit(s)
• SOC 410 - Senior Research   6 Credit(s) (social research concentration)
  or
• SOC 423 - Sociology Internship  3-9 Credit(s) (all other concentrations)
