Engineering Robotics, MSE

Robotics Engineering is a multidisciplinary program that integrates knowledge from computer, electrical and mechanical engineering. The master’s degree prepares engineers and other professionals with a broad range of academic backgrounds to work in a variety of industries that involve automation and machine intelligence, including but not limited to: aerospace, agriculture, automobile, construction, education, entertainment, finance, health care, law enforcement, manufacturing, military, mining, pharmaceutical, rescue, transportation, utilities, and warehouses.

A graduate level training in robotics provides students with the knowledge to advance their career and to pursue further graduate studies. The curriculum is designed to cover major topics in robotics and automation, and offers electives in emerging fields.

The MSE degree can be completed with a thesis or non-thesis option. Students pursuing thesis must enroll in ENGR 691 and ENGR 692 in lieu of two technical electives.
