Human Resource Leadership, Certificate

Students will benefit from increasing their knowledge of critical issues in human resource management  including organizational development theory and practice, leadership of change, talent management, workforce development strategies, and legal and ethical aspects of human resources.  It is expected that students will:

  1. Further develop their ability to manage change and lead in various human resource organizational roles through application of the education and skills gained through completion of this program.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge in areas of human resource management including talent management, organizational change management, performance assessment, labor relations, and current workforce issues.
  3. Identify best practices associated with leading vibrant learning organizations and organizations that effectively align human resource practice with organizational strategy.
  4. Effectively promote the development of policies and regulations consistent with legislative and regulatory mandates as well as internal policies.
  5. Apply ethical leadership principles to the development of organizations and their workforce.
