Human Services Leadership, Certificate

The Certificate in Human Services Leadership provides students with the opportunity to acquire advanced skills grounded in theory, research and best practices. It is expected that students will: 

  1. Understand multicultural and multidisciplinary approaches to the development of inclusive human services related delivery systems. 

  1. Be able to identify key legal and ethical issues and standards impacting practice in human services related environments. 

  1. Utilize planning, assessment and evaluation tools associated with strategic planning and continuous assessment of effectiveness in human services related organizations. 

  1. Understand how current and emerging issues impact policy making and leadership in human services related systems in government, public and private sectors.
