The Data Science and Intelligence Major prepares students to lead in a data-driven, AI-powered global economy. This interdisciplinary program blends business knowledge, data science, artificial intelligence, and business intelligence to develop professionals who can transform data into insight, insight into strategy, and strategy into impact.

Designed for students interested in analytics, intelligent systems, and decision-making, the program focuses on how organizations collect, manage, analyze, and use data to make smarter decisions. Students learn to work with data across its full lifecycle, from gathering and preparing data to analyzing it, building models, and communicating results.

A key feature of this program is helping students go beyond just looking at past results. Students learn how to use data to see what’s likely to happen next and decide what actions to take. By combining data science, artificial intelligence, and business intelligence tools, they gain the skills to spot trends, solve problems, and make smart, forward-thinking decisions.

The major emphasizes the integration of business strategy with data-driven and AI-enabled thinking. Students explore how technologies such as machine learning, automation, and advanced analytics are transforming industries, including finance, healthcare, marketing, operations, technology, and many others. The program also highlights ethical decision-making, responsible AI use, and the broader impact of data and intelligent systems on society.

Students develop both a strong business foundation and advanced analytical capabilities, preparing them to collaborate across teams and adapt in rapidly evolving environments.
