CED 544 - Multicultural Issues and Strategies in Human Services and Education

This course is designed to increase students’ awareness, knowledge, and skills related to the complexities of multicultural issues and human differences. The course aims to foster personal and professional growth, as well as students’ knowledge of cultural contexts. A combination of didactic instruction, group activities, discussion, and experiential, reflective learning is included. Students are expected to examine their own cultural influences and biases by writing a guided cultural autobiography.
