ACCT 435 - Selected Topics in Accounting Information Systems 3 Credit(s)
The course examines accounting issues that relate to advances in information technology. Students examine internet resources, terms, and applications (including exchange of accounting information, tax research, etc.), internet and computer security and controls, and auditing in the computer environment. These topics will be supported by hands-on computer experience using the Internet and SAS. Prerequisite(s): ACCT 105 , ACCT 205 , MIS 180 , MIS 290 and junior standing.
