CHEM 385 - Physical Chemistry I 4 Credit(s)
This course provides a comprehensive study of the structure, properties, and interactions of matter. Equations of state, thermodynamics, thermochemistry, and both chemical and phase equilibria are examined in detail. A strong mathematics background is recommended. 4 class hours. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 145 –CHEM 148 , CHEM 255 –CHEM 258 , PHYS 162 , MATH 133 or MATH 142 , or permission of the instructor.
