CHEM 386 - Physical Chemistry II 4 Credit(s)
This course continues the examination of the structure, properties, and interactions of matter. Specific focus areas include molecular energy distributions, the kinetic theory of gases with introductory statistical mechanics, and quantum mechanics. Concepts are described in mathematical detail using calculus and differential equations. 4 class hours. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 145 –CHEM 148 , CHEM 255 –CHEM 258 , PHYS 162 , MATH 133 or MATH 142 , or permission of the instructor.
