School of Human Service Professions

The purpose of the School of Human Service Professions is to provide academic programs devoted to educating undergraduate and graduate students for professions that have as their primary focus the provision of human services. The school consists of the following academic units: the Center for Education, the Center for Human Sexuality Studies, the Center for Social Work Education, the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology, the Institute for Occupational Therapy Education, and the Institute for Physical Therapy Education.

Mission Statement

The School of Human Service Professions aspires to prepare individuals to become innovative scholars-practitioners-citizens. The disciplines of the school use dynamic teaching, active scholarship, personal attention, and community involvement in order to foster leadership, ethical and professional decision-making, interdisciplinary dialogue, a competent responsiveness to the needs of a culturally diverse community, and a commitment to the value of lifelong learning.

Center for Education

Center for Social Work Education

The Center for Social Work Education offers both undergraduate and graduate courses of study. Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology

Center for Human Sexuality Studies

Institute for Occupational Therapy Education
