Robotics Engineering (RE) is a rapidly advancing, multidisciplinary major that impacts almost all industries, such as defense, automotive, health care, and manufacturing, among many others. The RE graduate curriculum covers advanced topics in RE fields and includes areas such as automation, advanced control systems, and machine intelligence. The suggested prerequisites for the core courses are modern physics, calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra. The set of courses proposed here will cover students’ needs in terms of the core required curriculum.
Students in the MSE program are encouraged to work with their academic advisor to design a focused program of study that will enhance their career goals and professional skills. The MSE degree can be completed with a thesis or non-thesis option.

Select 4 courses, in consultation with the academic advisor, with BME, CE, EE, ME, RE or ENGR prefixes. Students pursuing a thesis must enroll in ENGR 691 and ENGR 692 in lieu of two technical electives.
