The double criminal justice and sociology major is designed for students interested in the impact of communities and social interactions on everyday problems in society, including crime and deviance. Students pursuing this double major should be interested in studying social issues through field experience. Structured to fit within a four year curriculum, the major encompasses the requirements of both programs while allowing students to tailor coursework to fit intellectual interests.

CJ/SOC double majors who are not in the Applied Sociology Concentration should meet with the department chair to discuss alternative mandatory degree requirements.
