CHEM 475 - Advanced Inorganic Chemistry 3 Credit(s)
An advanced overview of the chemistry of the elements. The course begins with an examination of chemical bonding in covalent, ionic, and metallic substances. It continues with a discussion of theories of acids and bases, the chemistry of the main group elements, coordination chemistry, and the chemistry of the transition elements. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 375 and CHEM 386 or permission of instructor.
